Tyler graduated 4th in his class at South Texas College of Law and attended undergraduate school at both Texas A&M University and Texas State University where he received a B.S. in Psychology. Born in Sharpstown, Tyler is a native Houstonian.

Licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and licensed by the Federal District Court – Southern District of the United States of America. Tyler is married to Aimee and has 2 sons, Senator & March. They reside in Houston.
