Defendant saw teens breaking into his house and he called 911 but reporting officer arrested Defendant for assault instead of arresting teens for burglary. State offered to dismiss case if Defendant attended three Anger Management classes. Defendant rejected offer (against his attorney's advice) and took it to trial...result - 2 two-word verdicts!

Assault Dismissed Son, allegedly hit Mom in the face but state couldn't prove it. Mom said it didn't happen.
Assault Reduced to Class C Bar Brawl with conflicting witness statements
Assault Dismissed State v. Broussard, Wife allegedly kicked Husband in the crotch in a bar but there were no witnesses. Concidentally, the couple is going through a heated divorce.
Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon Dismissed Reduced to Deadly Conduct and 2 years DADJ, client caught wife cheating on him and beat other man's car windows in with a baseball bat.
Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon No Billed by Grand Jury Client did not know that passenger was about to commit crime, Client drove vehicle but innocent of offense charged with, complaining witnesses failed to assist in prosecution of case.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Reduced Fight ensued between friends after heated soccer game, complaining witness moved out of state and may have been unavailable for trial, State reduced to Class A Misdemeanor Assault.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Reduced to Misdemeanor with Fine Only Complaining Witness waited two months to call police, witness statements conflicted regarding injuries allegedly inflicted by Defendant, all witnesses live out of State.
